Chautauqua Winery’s Spring Festival
If you haven’t been to DeFuniak Springs’ own winery, you will want to be sure to add the Chautauqua Winery’s Spring Festival to your calendar! Producing award-winning wines for nearly 30 years, Chautauqua Vineyard and Winery has become a tourist favorite.
Chautauqua Winery’s Spring Festival will take place on Saturday, May 6th, from 9 am to 6 pm. There will be live music, arts and crafts, and of course, free wine tasting!

Peddler’s Alley in Historic Downtown DeFuniak Springs
If you love scoring big at garage sales but also enjoy the local goods of a farmers market, then the Peddler’s Alley in Historic Downtown DeFuniak Springs is where you’ll want to be on Saturday, May 6th! From 8 am to 1 pm, stroll the alleyways between 6th and 10th street where more than 40 vendors will be set up offering antiques, flea market treasures, crafts, baked goods, plants and flowers, canned and preserved goods, as well as other handcrafted items.

Hammock Bay’s Community Yard Sale
Spring is the prime time for garage and yard sales. Everyone is motivated to do some spring cleaning and finally get rid of the things that they no longer wish to store. Saturday, May 6th, join Hammock Bay for their community yard sale. Signs will be placed by the road and at the entrances to the neighborhoods. Whether you want to participate to try and clear out more space in your garage or want to find some great deals, you won’t want to miss this!
*Please note: Individuals/Home Owners are responsible for setting up their own items in their yard or driveway, the social committee will only be placing signs out.
Saturday, May 13th:
ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival
Join ArtsQuest for its 29th annual fine arts festival located in the Town Center of Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. On Saturday, May 13th and Sunday, May 14th, over
200 artists from across the country with have their artwork on display and available to purchase. You can find everything from Ceramics, Glass and Metal to Oils & Acrylics, Photography and Sculpture.
The event will run from 10 am – 7 pm on Saturday and 10 am – 5 pm on Sunday. Admission is $5 and there will be a cash bar available as well as live music, and plenty of food options. Rain or shine, come support the fine arts this Mother’s Day weekend!
On-Going Events
One of the great things about spring in Florida is the beautiful weather. It is perfect for exercising outside. The Market Shops is hosting free morning workouts on weekdays from Monday, April 3rd through Monday, July 31st. The classes will be held on the lawn from 9 to 10 am and are designed for all fitness levels.
The workout schedule is as follows:

- Tuesday – Pure Barre Pop Up
- Wednesday – Tabata Circuit Class with Scott Lassiter
