Walton County Fair
October 3 – 8th – Walton County Fair
Since 1924, the Walton County Fair located in DeFuniak Springs, has been providing a week of fun for the family. Most fairs have moved away from the agricultural aspect to games and rides but the Walton County Fair has continued to promote the importance of agriculture. In addition to the array of colored lights and sounds of carnival rides, the fair is also a time for youth and adults to showcase their hard work through livestock competitions which include poultry, rabbit, swine, horse, cattle, lamb and goats. They also showcase exhibits for artwork, handicrafts and crop production. Each day will offer something different so be sure to check the schedule for times, pricing and location.
